Full name: Thng Tien Tat DOB : 8th April 1968 - Tien Tat is currently working for a Private Equity firm in Singapore after moving back from Vietnam in 2016. Prior to working back to Singapore, he was the Country Manager for UOB in Vietnam. He has more than 20 years of experience in banking with the last 14 years developing banking business for UOB in the Mekong region, in particular Vietnam and Myanmar. Tien Tat used to be based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and was there since 2001. - The former President of the Singapore Business Group in Vietnam, Tien Tat is active in the business community in Mekong Region. In 2010, he initiated an Interest Free Loan programme for more than 600 university students in Vietnam under the UOB Interest Free Loan Programme. In 2014, he also set up UOB University Scholarships Programme that benefitted 45 students in Myanmar.   - Tien Tat is the author of book entitled “Vietnam Currency Notes : The Untold Stories” which was published in 2015. - Tien Tat graduated from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore with a Degree in Banking and Insurance. He speaks English and Mandarin.
